SUPPLEMENTARY READINGS


In addition to your assigned readings in the textbooks, students are also expected to read the following supplementary materials.  Some are primary sources - items generated during a specific period in history - such as letters, diaries, and government records.  These are the kinds of materials historians use when they conduct their research.  Other items are secondary sources - items written after historical events have transpired.  This list will be updated periodically, so be sure to check for new materials each week.
